Advisory - Residential Valuation
Harry Wackett is an RICS Registered Valuer who specialises in Planning Viability and Affordable Housing.
Harry prepares Financial Viability Assessments in support of residential-led planning applications on behalf of developers, Housing Associations and landowners. This involves justifying and agreeing on the level of affordable housing that a scheme is able to support whilst remaining deliverable. Harry then reviews and drafts S.106 legal agreements and negotiates the affordable housing contribution applicable once a viability review mechanism has been triggered.
Harry also advises landowners and developers on affordable housing accommodation within a development as the scheme design progresses from inception through to scheme completion. Through his understanding of each affordable housing tenure and its physical and value implications, Harry can optimize a scheme accordingly. Harry also carries out soft market testing and informal tenders to a select list of Housing Associations on behalf of developers, as well as acting on behalf of Housing Associations when acquiring affordable accommodation.
