I am an experienced built heritage and townscape consultant advising project teams on development affecting the historic built environment.
I am commercially aware, and have advised on numerous projects across Greater London and the UK, including:
•2018: 550 unit urban extension to Grantham in the setting of a Grade I listed Registered Park and Garden and conservation area (South Kesteven District Council). Masterplanners: Pegasus
•2017: £1.6bn redevelopment of the Whitgift Centre, West Croydon, involving tall buildings in the setting of Grade I listed buildings and demolition in a conservation area (LB Croydon). Architects: Hawkins Brown and Leonard Design Architects.
•2017: Refurbishment and extension of Grade I listed Nash first rate town house facing Regent’s Park (LB Camden). Architects: GC Office and Sir David Chipperfield.
•2017: Sensitive refurbishment of Grade II* Georgian merchant’s house in Watford as offices including delivery of a supermarket and residential development within the setting of the building (LB Watford). Architects: JTP.
•2013: Refurbishment and extension of Grade I listed Admiralty Arch on the Mall and facing Trafalgar Square (Westminster City Council). Architects: Blair Associates.
