In the depths of a housing crisis, modular construction is seen as one of the key solutions due to its speed of delivery.

Modular has the potential to deliver high-quality housing, but ultimately the planning process needs to be able to respond to maximise this benefit.

From our work at Kitchener Barracks, we know that Modern Methods of Construction - or MMC - allows for purchaser customisation, reduced construction impacts for urban sites, and the ability to react to market demands.  

However, for these to be realised, they need to be communicated to, and understood by, the public and decision makers.
